Tamar Platform Update
In coordination with relevant Israeli regulatory bodies, Chevron Mediterranean Limited is undergoing maintenance work at its Tamar Production Platform in Israel.
To perform the work safely, natural gas is controllably released from the Tamar Production Platform through the flare boom.
Flaring does not pose any environmental or health risk to the community and is an industry-standard safety device used to relieve pressure and help keep our equipment and plants operating safely.
