Tamar Platform Maintenance Update

 In coordination with relevant Israeli regulatory bodies, Chevron Mediterranean Limited plans to undergo scheduled maintenance work at its Tamar Production Platform in Israel from Wednesday 1/2/23 until Saturday 4/2/23.   

To perform the work safely, natural gas will be controllably released from the Tamar Production Platform through the flare boom.

Flaring does not pose any environmental or health risk to the community and is an industry-standard safety device used to relieve pressure and help keep our equipment and plants operating safely.
